Colliers International this week announced the appointment of Stephen Bruce as its head of management services for its Singapore business, with the former JLL executive having started in his new role on 6 July.
At Colliers, Bruce will be responsible for leading and driving the company’s real estate management business in Singapore, providing asset management, strata management, lease tenancy and facilities management services to the company’s clients.
“We are delighted to have Stephen on board and look forward to leveraging his expert knowledge , wide network and excellent track record to accelerate our client’s success,” said Tang Wei Leng, the Managing Director for Colliers Singapore. “This strategic appointment underscores our intent to continue to grow our share of business and influence in Singapore.”
Bruce was appointed to help Colliers enhances its management services for commercial properties, Colliers said in a statement. The position had been left vacant for about eight months until the recent assignment, for the purposes of “finding the right fit,” according to a company spokesperson.
16 Years of Industry Experience
The commercial real estate veteran brings with him 16 years of experience throughout Asia with a specialisation in asset management, leasing, management and capital markets.
Prior to joining Colliers, Bruce worked as head of premium asset management for JLL in Hong Kong after having spent the previous six years at developer HongKong Land.
In his new position, the Cardiff University alum will work closely with Tang to further develop risk evaluation and mitigation strategies on behalf of Colliers’ clients.
