Spotlight Interview with Brookfield Asset Management
Tuesday’s livestreaming will begin at 9:00 AM with the forum’s first session, a spotlight interview with Andrew Burych, a managing partner with Brookfield Asset Management who heads East Asia real estate for the Canadian investment giant.
In a one-on-one interview with Mingtiandi founder Michael Cole, Burych will be sharing insights on topics including Brookfield’s plans for building real estate platforms in Asia Pacific, following the success of initiatives like the 2021 IPO of Brookfield India REIT.

The livestreaming will continue at 14:00 as Mingtiandi brings together some of the region’s biggest investors, best-known analysts and most prolific dealmakers for a look at what to expect from real estate markets in Singapore, Southeast Asia and the Asia Pacific region as we head towards lower interest rates.
Joining the keynote panel will be Alessandro Fiascaris, head of Asia Pacific for Oxford Properties; Laurent Fischler, head of investments for Asia Pacific at Ivanhoé Cambridge; Jeremy Lake, managing director for investment sales and capital markets with Savills Singapore and Dr Lee Nai Jia, head of real estate intelligence for data and software solutions for PropertyGuru.

Special Sits, Commercial Markets and More
Also on the agenda for Tuesday is a spotlight interview with Bain Capital’s top real estate leadership for the region, with that session happening at 2:50 PM.
In that interview, Mingtiandi’s Michael Cole will sit down with Michael Hui, a partner who heads special situations and real estate for China with Bain Capital, along with his colleague, Man Kinoshita, a partner from the company’s Japan special situations team.
The Bain executives will share from the company’s strategies for investing profitably in the China and Japan markets as disruptions to aging business models and changing economic conditions create capital gaps and generate opportunities.
The agenda also includes panel discussions covering the commercial, residential and hospitality sectors, as well as a session on Singapore’s role as a global capital hub.
